One possibility to describe the method of Rossmanith is to see it as a mixture of engineering and bricolage. Since the engineer is equipped with a historian knowledge, the bricoleur walks around, collects materials. The photographic, sculptural, and installative works of Rossmanith are spontaneous and also planned moments and their thematic focus lies on the notion of the quotidian life, art history, and art analysis' and aesthetic receptions.
