Sebastian NEBE - Always Crashing In The Same Car

The young artist is Sebastian Nebe, born in Blankenburg in the former GDR in 1982, but nowadays living in Leipzig. Nebe studied at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst under professor Astrid Klein from Cologne and held his first solo exhibition ion 2006 in Holland. In Nebe's work the aesthetics of ink drawing and the technique of painting meet on the same surface-paper. The colour scheme seems foreign to oil painting and the themes dive headlong into the woods, producing odd visions with a dense atmosphere.
